Georgia Power Announces Key Leadership Appointments

Georgia Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company (NYSE: SO), is reinforcing its leadership team to address the growing energy demands of Georgia. Audrey King, a veteran of the company since 1991, will now spearhead corporate responsibility initiatives, leveraging her extensive experience in customer service, sales, and external affairs. Her role includes leading the Georgia Power Foundation, which supported over 400 organizations in 2024, focusing on education, environment, and community empowerment.

Cleve Fann, transitioning from his role in Power Delivery, will focus on aligning strategic planning with customer needs and enhancing community engagement. His previous oversight of the Grid Investment Program has been pivotal in maintaining high service reliability across Georgia. As Georgia experiences significant growth, Fann’s role will be crucial in ensuring the company’s infrastructure investments meet the expanding energy needs of the state.
