Kanye West and Bianca Censori have initiated legal proceedings against Beverly Hills dentist Dr. Thomas Connelly, accusing him of medical malpractice. According to the lawsuit, Connelly allegedly supplied West with excessive amounts of nitrous oxide, fostering a dependency that resulted in neurological damage and mood instability. The suit claims that Connelly not only provided the gas but also instructed West on how to self-administer it, effectively turning a medical anesthetic into a recreational drug.

The legal letter outlines that Connelly began treating West in early 2024, performing procedures such as the placement of a custom titanium crown. However, the suit alleges that the dentist went beyond legitimate medical practices by providing nitrous oxide in quantities and frequencies that lacked medical justification. It further claims that Connelly ignored signs of West's dependency and neurological harm, continuing the alleged misconduct even after observing red flags.

The lawsuit also addresses the financial aspect, stating that Connelly charged West $50,000 per month for the continuous supply of nitrous oxide and related services. After allegedly fostering the addiction, Connelly abruptly withdrew his services, failing to provide follow-up care or referrals for detoxification. West's legal team argues that this reckless behavior led to a severe worsening of his mental health, including increased confusion, mood instability, anxiety, and depression.
