Lori Daybell Sentenced in Arizona Murder Conspiracy Trials

The sentencing in Arizona marks another chapter in the disturbing story of Lori Vallow Daybell and Chad Daybell. The couple's case has captivated the nation due to its unique and unsettling elements.

Lori Daybell was found guilty of conspiring with her brother, Alex Cox, to kill Charles Vallow in 2019. Prosecutors argued that Lori wanted to collect a $1 million life insurance policy and be with Chad Daybell. Alex Cox shot Vallow, claiming self-defense, but later died of natural causes.

In a separate trial, Lori was also convicted of conspiring to kill Brandon Boudreaux, her niece's ex-husband. Boudreaux reported a drive-by shooting in October 2019, where someone in a Jeep fired at him. Prosecutors stated that Boudreaux lived in constant fear following this incident.

These convictions follow Lori's 2023 conviction in Idaho for the murders of her children, Tylee Ryan and Joshua "JJ" Vallow, and conspiracy to murder Chad Daybell’s first wife, Tammy Daybell. Chad Daybell has also been convicted and sentenced to death for these crimes. The remains of Tylee and JJ were found on Chad Daybell's property in June 2020, months after they disappeared.

She was convicted of two counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder for the deaths of Charles Vallow and Brandon Boudreaux.

She is already serving multiple life sentences in Idaho and will now serve additional time for the Arizona convictions.

Chad Daybell was convicted and sentenced to death for the murders of Tylee Ryan, Joshua Vallow, and Tammy Daybell.
