Judge Dismisses Most Claims in Blake Lively’s Lawsuit Against Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni in December 2024, accusing him of sexual harassment and retaliation during the filming of "It Ends With Us," an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel. Lively claimed that Baldoni created a toxic work environment and initiated a smear campaign to damage her reputation after she raised concerns. The dismissed claims included harassment, defamation, and conspiracy. However, the judge allowed claims of breach of contract, retaliation, and aiding and abetting in retaliation to move forward. Baldoni previously filed a $400 million countersuit against Lively, which was also dismissed. The trial for the remaining claims is scheduled to begin in May.
