Katy ISD Dancers Earn All-State Honors and Calendar Updates

The approved calendars meet all state requirements, maintaining at least 75,600 operational minutes. This ensures that the addition of a fall break does not compromise instructional time.

The dancers are Sophie Reuber, Abigail Eugate, Erika Ashmore, Marylynn Rojero, Jocelyn Rios, Taliyah Dyson, Brooke Vorst, Amelia Delatorre, and Emma Parnell.

The fall break is scheduled for Oct. 9-13, 2026.

Katy ISD trustees will vote on the district's 2027-28 instructional calendar at the Jan. 20 board meeting.
