The Tarzana International Film Festival (TZIFF) is gearing up for a star-studded event, featuring Luke Hemsworth, Morgan Freeman, and Lou Ferrigno. The festival, taking place September 5-7 at the Regal Cinemas in Sherman Oaks Galleria, will showcase over 70 films, including the West Coast premiere of 'Gunner,' an action thriller starring Hemsworth and Freeman. Lou Ferrigno, known for his role as the Incredible Hulk, will be presenting awards.

In addition to film screenings and celebrity appearances, TZIFF will commemorate the 150th anniversary of Edgar Rice Burroughs' birth with a tribute to Ron Ely, who portrayed Tarzan in the 1960s. Author Kevin J. Anderson, known for his work on the 'Dune' saga, will receive the Edgar Rice Burroughs Legacy Award.

This year, TZIFF is also partnering with the Artificial Intelligence Media Festival, highlighting the intersection of AI and creative arts with an AI Digital Art Exhibition.

Separately, Morgan Freeman was spotted vacationing on the Greek island of Paxos with Christophoros Papakaliatis and Maria Kavogianni, the creators of the series 'Maestro in Blue'. Freeman had previously lauded the Greek production as a 'masterpiece' on Instagram, praising its storytelling and the island's scenery. Papakaliatis shared photos of Freeman enjoying the island, sparking speculation about a potential collaboration.

The festival is scheduled for September 5-7 at the Regal Cinemas in Sherman Oaks Galleria.
