Tom Felton Credits Daniel Radcliffe for Broadway Debut in "Cursed Child"

Tom Felton, who played Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films, is set to make his Broadway debut in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child." The play, which opened on Broadway in 2018, fast forwards 19 years after the original series, featuring grown-up versions of Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Draco, along with their children.

Felton has expressed his excitement about returning to the role of Draco, now portraying him as a father. He also mentioned that Daniel Radcliffe, who has had a successful Broadway career, has been a source of inspiration. Radcliffe made his Broadway debut in 2008 in "Equus" and later won a Tony Award for "Merrily We Roll Along."

"I’ve taken a few tips from Potter, this is true,” Felton said, acknowledging Radcliffe’s influence. Felton is scheduled for a 26-week run in "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child," from November 11, 2025, to May 10, 2026, at Broadway’s Lyric Theatre.

The play has been a global success, selling over 11 million tickets worldwide and winning numerous awards, solidifying its place as a major Broadway hit and the 3rd longest running play of all time.
