Christian Brown’s Emotional American Idol Audition

Christian Brown's audition for 'American Idol' was a heartwarming moment, showcasing the bond between father and son through music. Marty Brown, known for co-writing Tracy Byrd's hit 'I'm From the Country,' was visibly moved as Christian sang 'Wildest Dreams,' a song he wrote about his children. Christian explained that singing his father's song was his way of expressing his love and gratitude.

Another touching moment this season involved Lainey Grace, a 16-year-old, who auditioned with Kyndal Inskeep's song 'Honest.' Inskeep, who was next in line to audition, was brought into the room, and the two sang a duet. While Grace didn't make it to Hollywood Week, Inskeep did, after singing her original song, 'Prayer of a Trying Daughter.'

Also, Hannah Harper auditioned with her original song “String Cheese.” The song details how Harper, a mother of three boys, found comfort through God during a time when she struggled with postpartum depression.

Christian Brown sang "Wildest Dreams," a song written by his father, Marty Brown.

The judges are Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood.
