Tim Meadows on Peacemaker’s Checkmate Twist

Tim Meadows, who plays former A.R.G.U.S. agent Langston Fleury in *Peacemaker*, discussed his understanding of the Season 2 finale, particularly the Checkmate twist. In the show, the 11th Street Kids form Checkmate, an organization to help people outside of A.R.G.U.S., including Fleury. However, Peacemaker’s capture and subsequent events left Meadows as puzzled as the audience. He humorously noted that he was only directed to walk out of a building looking happy, with no dialogue, for the finale.

Meadows also joked about his current role as Gregg in the CBS comedy *DMV*, suggesting a humorous crossover where Fleury would influence Gregg. He reiterated that he remains largely unaware of *Peacemaker's* plot beyond his scenes, expressing surprise at the finale's events. Despite Fleury’s capabilities, Meadows highlighted the character’s "bird blindness" as a significant weakness.

Checkmate is a new organization formed by the 11th Street Kids to help people without A.R.G.U.S. affiliation.
