His slider is particularly effective, but he needs to improve the location and command of his other pitches to reach his full potential. Matthews' fastball shape is somewhat generic and needs to be elevated more consistently.

Ryan Gusto

Gusto's fastball command is what makes his 94 mph fastball effective. He also has a good curveball with excellent spin mirroring and release match, making it difficult for hitters to differentiate between the two pitches. Gusto has a wide pitch mix but needs to refine his cutter, sweeper, sinker, and changeup to become a more complete pitcher.
