Chipotle Celebrates Friday the 13th with Tattoo BOGO Deal

Chipotle's Friday the 13th promotion taps into the popularity of tattoo culture and viral internet trends. The 'tatted like a Chipotle bag' meme, referencing the unique designs on their takeout bags, has resonated with fans, inspiring this playful campaign.

The BOGO offer is valid for anyone with a tattoo – permanent, temporary, or even drawn on – making it accessible to a wide audience. The flash tattoo giveaway at select locations adds an element of exclusivity and encourages in-store visits. Locations include: Atlanta, Austin, Chicago, Columbus, Denver, La Jolla, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Portland, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Scottsdale. This campaign is part of Chipotle's history of fan-inspired creations, such as the 'Car Napkin Holder' and the 'Extra Fork Collection.'

Chipotle is also launching a new Adobo Ranch dip, available at all U.S. and Canada locations starting June 17th. Chipotle Rewards members get a free side of Adobo Ranch on launch day if they enroll by June 16th.

Show up at any participating Chipotle location with a tattoo (real, temporary, or drawn-on) between 3-4 p.m. local time on Friday, June 13th.

13 select Chipotle restaurants will be giving them out with in-restaurant orders during the BOGO window, while supplies last.
