PGMO Admits Handball Error on Man Utd Goal vs. Nottingham Forest

The handball law states that a handball offence occurs if a player scores directly from their hand/arm, even if accidental, or immediately after the ball has touched their hand/arm, even if accidental. While the Premier League allows some leniency for natural movements, Webb felt Salisbury misjudged the incident. Dermot Gallagher highlighted that Mbeumo's arm cushioned the ball, creating an advantage. Nottingham Forest manager Vitor Pereira voiced his concerns about the lack of clarity in handball decisions and called for a meeting to discuss the rules. The incident has fueled debate about the consistency and interpretation of handball laws in the Premier League.
