In 2025, he played in all 13 games, logging 295 defensive snaps and contributing 15 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.

The departure of several defensive linemen, including Rayshaun Benny and Tre Williams, made Etta's return even more critical. New head coach Kyle Whittingham and defensive line coach Lou Esposito prioritized retaining Etta, recognizing his potential and experience.
