Battlefield 6 is launching with several key updates shaped by community input during extensive beta testing. The developers analyzed data points such as class pick rates, kills per hour, match length, and revive rates to fine-tune the gameplay experience.

Playlist and Menu Updates:

All launch maps will be available across playlists from day one. Single-mode and mixed-mode playlists will be available, including dedicated playlists for Conquest, Breakthrough, and Escalation, as well as combined playlists like Conquest & Escalation and Breakthrough & Rush. Custom Search and the Server Browser will allow players to find specific map and mode combinations.

Weapon and Gadget Balancing:

Recoil has been rebalanced on automatic weapons, and numerous weapon attachments have been fixed. Gadgets like the LTLM II and MBT-LAW have been refined for better feel and accuracy. Deploy Beacons are now limited to one spawn per player to maintain balance.

Maps and Modes:

Rush and Breakthrough layouts have been revised for better balance. Operation Firestorm has been updated with improved vaulting, lighting, and performance.

Season 1:

Season 1, launching on October 28, will include more content than ever before in a Battlefield game, featuring new maps, weapons, and modes. A new Battlefield take on Battle Royale is also in development.
