Marvel Cosmic Invasion Reveals She-Hulk and Rocket Raccoon as Playable Characters

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is a side-scrolling action fighter developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu, known for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge. Players control a team of two characters, switching between them using the Cosmic Swap system. Each character has unique superpowers and special moves, enabling powerful team combos. The game's story involves the immortal Super Villain Annihilus launching an attack across the galaxy, forcing Earth-born and cosmic fighters to join forces.

The initial trailer revealed Captain America, Wolverine, Spider-Man, Storm, Phyla-Vell, Venom, and Nova as playable characters. The addition of She-Hulk and Rocket Raccoon brings the total to nine, leaving six more to be revealed. She-Hulk uses her gamma-powered strength, while Rocket Raccoon employs a variety of weaponry.

Gameplay involves brawling through locations from New York City to the Negative Zone to stop Annihilus. Players can collect power-ups and rewards throughout the game.

The game is expected to be released later this year.

The game will be available on PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

The game will feature 15 playable Marvel heroes.
