The Super Mario Bros. Wonder - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park enhances the original game with several key improvements. Bellabel Park introduces a variety of new modes and challenges, including tougher Koopaling boss battles and the Toad Brigade Training Camp, which offers over 70 bite-sized challenges. These challenges reuse levels, powerups, and badges in creative ways, providing a fresh experience for players. A new Flower Mario powerup adds a Yoshi-like flutter jump and a projectile attack.

Multiplayer is significantly improved with the ability to zoom the camera out and focus on Player One, addressing issues with chaotic gameplay and camera control. The Switch 2 version also boasts a locked 60 fps and 4K resolution while docked.

To celebrate the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, Nintendo is offering free Super Mario Galaxy-themed icons, backgrounds, and frames through the Nintendo Switch Online app. These customizations allow players to personalize their online profiles with characters and designs from the Super Mario Galaxy games.

The upgrade is available for $20 for existing owners of the Switch 1 game or as part of the full $80 Switch 2 package.
