Hand Soaps and Cleansers Recalled Due to Bacteria Contamination Risk

DermaRite Industries expanded its recall to include various lotions, shampoos, and sanitizers due to Burkholderia cepacia contamination.
B. cepacia poses a significant risk to immunosuppressed individuals, potentially leading to severe infections and sepsis. Why this matters: Immunocompromised individuals and those caring for them should immediately check for recalled products.
The recalled products were distributed nationwide in the United States and Puerto Rico.
