Suge Knight's Wrongful Death Retrial Plunged into Chaos

The retrial in the wrongful death case against Suge Knight has been marked by significant legal drama. The initial trial in 2022 ended in a mistrial with a 7-5 jury split in favor of finding Knight liable. Jury selection for the retrial began on April 22, 2025, amidst this legal turmoil. The judge has stated that Knight is free to hire new counsel at any time, leaving the retrial's future uncertain.
