Virginia Bus Crash Kills Massachusetts Family, Several Injured

The crash occurred around 2:35 a.m. when the bus failed to slow down in a work zone, striking a Chevrolet Suburban, which caused a chain reaction involving an Acura and other vehicles. The Acura, carrying the Doncev family, caught fire.

First responders transported 44 people to area hospitals, with three in critical condition. The southbound lanes of I-95 were closed for several hours during the investigation.

The crash occurred on Interstate 95 southbound in Stafford County, Virginia, near Marine Corps Base Quantico.

Five people died, including two children from the same family.
