Anita Grayson Death: Altercation at Tim Hortons

The incident began when Anita Grayson entered the Tim Hortons to address an issue with her drive-thru order, leading to a verbal confrontation with a teenage employee. A 20-year-old shift lead intervened, resulting in a physical altercation. According to police, Grayson shoved an employee and struck her in the face. The employee then swung her arms, and Grayson scratched the employee’s face, knocked off her glasses, and pulled out a chunk of her hair.

After the fight, Grayson sat down, and later laid on the floor. Police found her unresponsive, and she was pronounced dead after being transported to a hospital.

The family disputes the police account and believes Grayson should still be alive. They are calling for the release of body camera video and have organized protests.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office has not yet ruled on the cause and manner of death, noting preliminary findings show no significant contributory injuries. Grayson’s daughter mentioned that her mother had congestive heart failure and was wearing a heart monitor a week before the incident.
