Batavia Chiropractor Charged with Secretly Recording Nude Videos of Patients

David Hanson, 43, faces serious felony charges after an investigation by the Batavia Police Department and the Child Exploitation Unit of the Kane County State's Attorney's Office. The investigation was triggered by the discovery of hidden cameras in Hanson's chiropractic office, specifically in the red light therapy room. This room was used for red light and near-infrared light therapy. The Kane County State's Attorney's Office reported that Hanson possessed and disseminated videos containing child sexual abuse material that was not related to his chiropractic practice. The charges include: Producing Child Pornography (5 counts), Disseminating Child Pornography (3 counts), Possessing Child Pornography (6 counts), and Unauthorized Video Recording of a Minor Through/Under the Clothes (3 counts).
