Revuckas visited the Morales' residence to view the truck and later returned to finalize the deal.

Surveillance footage captured Morales meeting Revuckas, and shortly after, smoke was seen emanating from the apartment. Firefighters discovered Morales near the door with approximately 70 stab wounds. Revuckas is also accused of stabbing the family’s dog and setting the apartment ablaze using household items and chemicals.

Revuckas confessed to the crime, stating he was angered by the condition of the truck and "took out his frustration" on Morales. He is currently held in custody, with prosecutors seeking to deny him pre-trial release, deeming him a threat to the community.

The community has rallied around the Morales family, with a candlelight vigil held in Eliza's memory and a GoFundMe campaign established to provide financial support. Nedas Revuckas faces charges including first-degree murder, intentional homicide of an unborn child, animal cruelty, armed robbery, and arson.
