Seattle Man Shoots Carjacking Suspects in Self-Defense

Around 3:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning, a man parked his sports car on 1st Avenue when he was approached by a white sedan carrying four masked individuals. Two of the occupants, armed with guns, attempted to steal the vehicle. Fearing for his safety, the victim, a licensed gun owner, fired multiple shots, hitting one of the suspects. The other suspects fled the scene but a second suspect was later dropped off at Harborview Medical Center with gunshot wounds.

Police are actively investigating the incident, processing the scene, collecting evidence, and interviewing witnesses. The victim was questioned and later released. The two injured suspects remain in serious condition and under police guard at the hospital.
