On a Saturday, while Santa Rosa Bible Church was empty, two teenage cousins allegedly broke in through an unlocked door. According to reports, the teens proceeded to vandalize the premises, which included throwing items around, breaking a toilet, and desecrating the bathroom and gymnasium floors with feces and urine. They also damaged a children’s play structure outside the church. Surveillance footage helped police quickly identify the suspects. The 14-year-old was arrested on Sunday, and the 15-year-old, who was visiting from Danville, was brought back to Santa Rosa by a parent to face charges. This incident has sparked outrage and concern among residents. The Santa Rosa Police Department has emphasized the importance of community respect and encouraged young people to make positive choices. Such incidents can have lasting effects, potentially leading to increased security measures at local religious institutions and a heightened awareness of community safety.

According to police reports, the teens broke into the church, threw items around, broke a toilet, defecated on the bathroom floor, urinated on the gymnasium floor, and damaged a children’s play structure.

The suspects were identified using surveillance footage from the church. One was arrested the following day, and the other was brought in by a parent after being identified.
