Former Turkey Leg Hut Owner Arrested in Arson Conspiracy

The indictment alleges that Lyndell Price conspired with Armani Williams and John Lee Price to commit arson at Bar 5015, located on Almeda Road in Houston. The events unfolded on June 12, 2020, when the bar was deliberately set ablaze, causing an explosion that damaged nearby properties and frightened residents.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Price recruited Williams and John Price to execute the arson. The plan involved pouring gasoline on the bar's entrance ramp and igniting it. The Houston Fire Department confirmed that the explosion was the result of an intentionally set fire, prompting a criminal investigation.

Lyndell and John Price are also accused of a separate incident in April 2020, involving the arson of a 1975 Chevy Nova. These charges add to the severity of the legal challenges Price is currently facing.

The legal proceedings are ongoing, and Price is currently in federal custody pending a detention hearing. The case serves as a reminder of the serious consequences associated with arson and conspiracy, potentially leading to decades in prison and hefty fines.
