Baylor University Celebrates Class of 2026 Graduation

Baylor University’s commencement ceremonies have evolved over the decades, reflecting the institution’s growth and adaptation to changing circumstances. The ceremonies included graduates from the Honors College, School of Engineering and Computer Science, College of Arts and Sciences, Graduate School, Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences, Diana R. Garland School of Social Work, School of Music, and Moody School of Education.

The Moody School of Education’s renaming follows a transformational $30 million gift from the Moody Foundation of Galveston. This donation supports scholarships, expands faculty research, and grows academic programs, ensuring the school’s continued success and impact in the field of education.

Baylor’s commencement traditions, spanning 172 years, create a memorable experience for graduates and their families. The ceremonies include faculty marshals, ushers, and a ceremonial brass ensemble, maintaining a formal and celebratory atmosphere.

All four ceremonies were held at the Ferrell Center in Waco, Texas.

Over 3,000 students participated in the commencement ceremonies.

It celebrated its first graduating class under the new name, following a $30 million gift from the Moody Foundation.
