Fatal Bus Accident in Ashburn

On December 1, Alyssa Kakol, 34, of Purcellville, was killed after being struck by a Loudoun County Transit bus in the Moorefield Station area of Ashburn. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident. Kakol's sister remembered her as a kind and generous person who loved spending time with family and friends.
