Gaza Flotilla: Hamas Funding Allegations and Controversy

The Israeli Foreign Ministry claims to have found documents in Gaza that reveal Hamas's direct involvement in the Sumud Flotilla. These documents include a letter from Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh endorsing the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad (PCPA), which Israel designates as a terrorist organization. Further, the documents allegedly list PCPA members, including the CEO of Cyber Neptune, a company owning ships participating in the flotilla.

However, flotilla organizers vehemently deny these claims, asserting they are a civil and humanitarian mission. They challenge Israel to hand over the full documents to independent bodies for verification. The Global Sumud Flotilla consists of over 50 vessels with participants from 44 countries, aiming to break the Israeli blockade and deliver aid to Gaza.
