Prince William to Sell 20% of Duchy of Cornwall for Housing and Nature Projects

The Duchy plans to expand solar panel installations in the southwest of England, targeting enough power generation for 40,000 homes. Additionally, they are working to restore peatlands and enhance biodiversity across their estates.

This initiative aligns with Prince William’s project to tackle homelessness, Homewards, and aims to provide thousands of new homes by 2040.

By reducing rents for community tenants and focusing on social value, the Duchy seeks to improve its public image and demonstrate a commitment to the well-being of local communities.
