Fatal House Fire Claims Family of Four in Da Lat

The fire reportedly erupted shortly after midnight. Neighbors noticed the flames and smoke billowing from the house and attempted a rescue, breaking down the door, but the intense heat and smoke prevented them from entering further. Firefighters were alerted and quickly dispatched to the scene. Upon extinguishing the blaze, they discovered the bodies of the four victims inside.

The house, constructed with a wooden frame and containing flammable materials, was quickly consumed by the fire. Authorities have cordoned off the area and are conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire, with preliminary reports pointing towards an electrical fault. The family had only recently moved into the rented property, adding another layer of tragedy to the incident.

The fire occurred at a house on Nguyen Thi Dinh Street, Ward 4, Da Lat, Vietnam, around 0:30 AM on June 24th.

Four members of one family—parents and two children—tragically lost their lives.

While the official investigation is ongoing, an electrical short circuit is the suspected cause.
