Coach Coen has emphasized the team's desire to maximize Hunter's playing time, hinting at a significant role in both the passing game and the secondary. Hunter played 753 offensive snaps and 776 defensive snaps last season at Colorado, according to Pro Football Focus.

While the exact division of snaps is still being determined, the coaching staff is keen on getting Hunter involved as much as possible. The challenge for Hunter will be managing the mental and physical demands of playing two positions at the professional level. He has expressed that playing both sides is more taxing mentally than physically.

Hunter is expected to play both wide receiver and cornerback for the Jaguars.
