Texas Tech has implemented a new mobile ticketing system that allows for quicker entry into Jones AT&T Stadium. Fans can download their tickets and simply tap them at the gate. Screenshots will not be accepted, so ensure you have the actual mobile ticket downloaded.
The gameday atmosphere will be enhanced with upgrades to video displays, fireworks, and lighting sequences. The stadium now features five marketplace locations for concessions, offering a variety of options for fans.
Parking lots open at 7:30 a.m. on gamedays. RV pass holders can access their parking location beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Friday evenings. Citibus will operate a shuttle service for fans, with pick-up locations north of the John Walker Soccer Complex and northwest of the Health Sciences Center.
Several new players are stepping into starting roles this season. On offense, Cameron Dickey and J'Koby Williams take over at running back, Reggie Virgil steps in at wide receiver, and Howard Sampson joins the offensive line. On special teams, Upton Bellenfant and Stone Harrington are competing for the starting kicker position, and Micah Hudson will be returning kickoffs.
Pregame Flyover:: The 434th Flying Training Squadron will perform a pregame flyover.
Raider Alley:: Texas Tech alumnus Pat Green will kick off the season at Raider Alley with a free concert at 4:30 p.m.
Raider Walk:: Fans can greet the Red Raiders as they walk into the stadium around 4 p.m.
