Sai Sudharsan Shares Chennai Connection Ahead of IPL Clash

Sai Sudharsan, the Gujarat Titans star opener, has revealed his long-standing admiration for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). As Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings prepare to face off in their final league-stage clash of IPL 2026 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Sudharsan shared his childhood connection with the Chennai-based franchise.

Having already scored two hundreds this season, including a 101 in 54 balls against CSK's arch-rivals Mumbai Indians, at the Wankhede Stadium. Ahead of the CSK clash, Sudharsan reflected on one of the most memorable innings of his IPL career, his maiden IPL century against Chennai Super Kings in 2024 at Ahmedabad.

Sudharsan, who won the IPL 2025 Orange Cap with 759 runs, has continued his strong form into IPL 2026. In 13 matches, the left-hander has scored 554 runs.

Sanju Samson is back in action for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2026 as they take on Gujarat Titans on Monday at the Narendra Modi Stadium. Since scoring the maiden century of the IPL 2026 season against DC, Samson has consistently performed for CSK and has been their highest run scorer.

Sai Sudharsan grew up watching CSK and has a deep emotional connection with the franchise.

Sudharsan has scored 554 runs in 13 matches and is currently fourth in the Orange Cap standings.

In 190 matches, Samson has scored 5181 runs with 5 centuries and 27 half-centuries.
