Treuting recounts stories of commuters who say seeing the flag makes them smile, and die-hard fans who know they're in 'Hawks territory' when they spot it. The community's support is evident through GoFundMe campaigns, which help fund the flag's maintenance and replacements. Surplus funds are donated to local charities like the Empower Youth Network.
