Carrie Coon to Star in Broadway Premiere of Tracy Letts' 'Bug'

‘Bug’ tells the story of Agnes White, a lonely waitress, who becomes involved with Peter Evans, a mysterious drifter. The play premiered in London in 1996 and had an Off-Broadway run in 2004, followed by a film adaptation in 2006.

The Manhattan Theatre Club is bringing David Cromer's Steppenwolf production of Tracy Letts' 'Bug' to Broadway. The production, which began in 2020 and was delayed by the pandemic, will feature the original cast. Letts describes the play as scary, funny, and intimate, highlighting the immersive experience it offers to the audience.

Coon, known for her roles in 'The White Lotus' and 'The Gilded Age', previously starred in the 2012 Broadway revival of 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?'&ref=yanuki.com alongside Letts. Previews begin December 18, 2025, and the opening night is January 8, 2026.
