Frontier Airlines Expands Routes and Services

Frontier Airlines is strategically expanding its network to include more destinations and increase flight frequency on popular routes. The addition of new routes from Detroit and the introduction of services connecting cities like Newark, Orlando, Salt Lake City, and Tucson will provide travelers with more options and competitive fares. The potential addition of Wi-Fi and the introduction of upgraded seating options like "UpFront Plus" and First Class reflect a broader effort to enhance the customer experience and attract a wider range of travelers. This expansion comes as Frontier aims to solidify its position as a leading low-fare airline, offering affordable travel options without sacrificing comfort and convenience. The new routes from Detroit began launching in November 2025, while the four new routes connecting other cities will launch in early 2026.

Introductory fares start as low as $29 for select domestic routes and $110 for the Cancun flight, with certain restrictions and blackout dates.

"UpFront Plus" is an upgraded seating option with extra leg and elbow room in the first two rows of the aircraft, guaranteeing a window or aisle seat and an empty middle seat.
