Royal Air Maroc Expands US Routes with New Flights to Los Angeles and Boston

Royal Air Maroc's strategic expansion into the US market reflects a broader trend of increased transatlantic routes to Morocco. The Casablanca-Los Angeles route, covering approximately 5,990 miles, will be the airline's second-longest service by distance. This route not only aims to serve the local Casablanca-Los Angeles market but also to capture connecting passengers from across Africa, particularly cities like Cairo, Lagos, and Accra.

The resumption of the Boston route, which Royal Air Maroc operated briefly in 2019 and early 2020, indicates confidence in the long-term potential of the market despite previous challenges related to low seat occupancy and the onset of COVID-19. With these additions, Royal Air Maroc will operate five US routes, marking a 25% increase in weekly departures compared to July 2025.
