'The Boys' Kicks Off Final Season with Explosive Luna Park Takeover

To celebrate the global hit series' fifth and final season, Urban – who plays Billy Butcher in the series – walked the red carpet alongside additional media personalities, including Nina Oyama, April Rose Pengilly, Jean Tong, Justin Hill, Nick Brown, Jana Bartolo, Danijela Dacic and Aicha Robertson. Throughout the night, guests explored a series of themed activation spaces inspired by the world of “The Boys,” from adopting the power of Butcher’s tentacles and A-Train’s super speed, to drinking questionable shots from the Milk Bar and an installation of Laser Babies. Season 5 “is Homelander’s world.” Per the synopsis: “Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a ‘Freedom Camp.’ Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it. It’s the climax, people. Big stuff’s gonna happen.

The first two episodes premiered on April 8th.

The series finale will air on May 20th.
