The April 30th episode of 'The Masked Singer' Season 13 took an unexpected turn when Lucky Duck, who had been teasing viewers with clues throughout the season, decided to unmask himself. Instead of allowing the panelists to guess, Lucky Duck revealed himself to be Taika Waititi, the acclaimed director behind films like 'Jojo Rabbit' and 'Thor: Ragnarok,' and husband to panelist Rita Ora.
The episode also featured a new head-to-head format in the semifinals. Boogie Woogie faced off against Pearl, and Mad Scientist Monster competed against Coral. The winners of each battle, Pearl and Mad Scientist Monster, automatically advanced to the finale. However, in a surprise move, Lucky Duck announced that both Coral and Boogie Woogie would also move on, resulting in a four-way finale.
This season of 'The Masked Singer' has included themed episodes paying tribute to franchises like 'Shrek' and 'Ghostbusters,' as well as tributes to the Grand Ole Opry. The masked contestants have included Honey Pot, Space Ranger, Cherry Blossom, and more.
