Stick Season 2: Renewal Status, Filming Location, and What to Expect

Created by Jason Keller, 'Stick' features Owen Wilson as Pryce “Stick” Cahill, an ex-golf pro seeking redemption by mentoring Santi Wheeler (Peter Dager). The first season, consisting of ten episodes, aired weekly, culminating in a finale that left Santi's future uncertain.

The Pitt Meadows Golf Club, standing in for Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Woody Crest Country Club, played a significant role in the series. The production utilized the entire club for two weeks, with creator Jason Keller humorously noting that Owen Wilson often snuck away to practice his golf game between takes. The club offers a championship-caliber 18-hole course and a newly renovated restaurant, the Blue Heron Bar & Grill.

To enhance the golf experience, 'Stick' integrated real PGA professionals and commentators. This infusion of authenticity adds depth to the series, appealing to both golf enthusiasts and casual viewers.

The season finale of 'Stick' was released on Apple TV+ on July 23.

As of now, Apple TV+ has not made any announcements regarding the renewal or cancellation of 'Stick'.

The series was filmed at the Pitt Meadows Golf Club in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, Canada.

Collin Morikawa, Wyndham Clark, and Keegan Bradley appear in the series alongside professional commentators Trevor Immelman and Jim Nantz.
