Succession Star Addresses Spin-Off Potential

In a recent interview, Nicholas Braun shared his thoughts on revisiting his character, Greg Hirsch, in a 'Succession' spin-off. While appreciative of Greg's arc, Braun suggested that giving him much more would be unbelievable, while also saying that Greg is as close as he can get to the throne.

Alongside the 'Succession' discussion, Braun stars in 'The Sheep Detectives'. In the film, Nicholas Braun plays Tim, a hapless lone policeman, who is both aided and impeded by the arrival of three newcomers: Elliot Matthews (Nicholas Galitzine), an intrepid reporter itching for the scoop on a small-town murder mystery, Lydia Harbottle (Emma Thompson), George’s lawyer, there to read the will, and Rebecca (Molly Gordon), a mysterious American relative who conveniently shows up in town the day after the murder. The film, adapted from Leonie Swann’s “Three Bags Full,” follows a flock of sheep who solve the murder of their shepherd, George Hardy (Hugh Jackman).

'Succession' was a hit due to its ensemble cast, also featuring Kieran Culkin, Peter Friedman, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Sarah Snook, Jeremy Strong, and J. Smith-Cameron. Braun admitted he misses working with the cast and would enjoy another season.

Nothing is confirmed, but Nicholas Braun seems hesitant about a Greg-focused spin-off.

It's a family-friendly mystery about a flock of sheep solving their shepherd's murder.
