Boston Weekend Snow Forecast

The approaching weather system is expected to move quickly, bringing a mix of light rain and wet snow to the region on Saturday. As temperatures cool, the precipitation will transition to all snow, even near the coast. While the storm is not anticipated to be a major snow event, it could still cause travel disruptions, especially during the evening hours. Sunday will be cloudy, with a chance of light snow in the southern coastal communities. Next week, an arctic front will bring frigid temperatures to the area, with wind chills plummeting well below zero. A storm watch is in effect for late next week, but it does not appear to be a coastal storm.

Central Massachusetts and parts of southern New Hampshire could see 1-3 inches, while coastal areas may get a coating to an inch.

There is a chance of light snow in Plymouth, Wareham, and Hyannis during the late afternoon.
