Rain and Storms Return to Ohio: Flash Flood Risk

The ground is so dry that the rain will run off quickly, increasing the risk. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the area under a marginal risk for severe weather, with gusty winds possible. This weather pattern is due to a cold front moving through the region, bringing cooler temperatures and increased chances of precipitation throughout the week. The rain will be on and off, with varying amounts across different areas.

There is a marginal risk of flash flooding, especially in Cincinnati and areas to the west.

Cincinnati and western areas could see up to 2 inches of rain, while areas east of the city may receive around 1 inch.

Rain and thunderstorm chances will persist through Thursday, with gradually cooling temperatures.
