Michigan Snow Forecast: Multiple Rounds of Snow Expected in December 2025

Snow is anticipated to spread across Michigan, starting Saturday night and continuing into Sunday. Most areas can expect between 1 to 3 inches of accumulation. The heaviest snowfall is predicted for Sunday morning, particularly near the Lake Michigan shoreline from Muskegon northward and in the Upper Peninsula.

Following this initial snowfall, an Arctic blast will cause temperatures to plummet. Monday morning will see temperatures in the single digits across much of Michigan, with wind chills potentially dropping below zero. Another clipper system is expected to bring additional light snow Monday night into Tuesday, with the heaviest snowfall potentially occurring in northwestern Lower Michigan. A stronger system is expected to impact the region from Tuesday night into Wednesday, bringing more widespread snow, possibly mixed with rain in southern regions. Temperatures will moderate slightly on Wednesday before another surge of Arctic air arrives later in the week.

Slippery road conditions are likely and residents are advised to monitor local forecasts for updates.
