Coastal areas are at risk of flooding due to the winds pushing water onshore. Power outages are a significant concern, with utility companies staging crews to respond to potential disruptions. This storm follows a late-January weather system that already burdened Boston with nearly two feet of snow, making snow removal and sidewalk access challenging.

Up to two feet of snow is forecast for some areas of Massachusetts, with the potential for even higher amounts in southeastern parts of the state.

Eastern and southeastern Massachusetts are expected to be hit hardest by the snowfall, with coastal communities facing flooding risks.
