A Flash Flood Warning remains in effect for parts of western Pennsylvania, specifically Butler and Lawrence counties, until 11:15 p.m. Wednesday. Meteorologists have indicated the possibility of embedded downpours accompanied by isolated, gusty thunderstorms. The primary risk window for severe storms is between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., characterized by very heavy rain, damaging winds, and the potential for isolated tornadoes.

Rainfall totals are expected to vary across the region, generally ranging from 1 1/2 inches to 3 inches. This additional heavy rainfall could lead to flooding in low-lying, poor drainage, and urban areas. River levels are anticipated to rise, and creeks and streams may overflow.
