Yorgos Lanthimos is directing "Bugonia" from a script by Will Tracy ("Succession," "The Menu"). The film centers around two conspiracy-obsessed friends who kidnap a CEO (Emma Stone), believing she is an alien set on destroying Earth. This is Stone and Lanthimos's latest collaboration after "Poor Things," "The Favourite," and "Kinds of Kindness." The film also reunites Lanthimos with several of his frequent collaborators, including editor Yorgos Mavropsaridis, cinematographer Robbie Ryan, production designer James Price, and composer Jerskin Fendrix. Focus Features will release "Bugonia" in select theaters on October 24, followed by a wide release on October 31.
