Sixteen years prior to the game's events, in the region of Ezo (modern-day Hokkaido), Atsu's family was murdered by the Yōtei Six. Left for dead, she survived and trained to become a deadly warrior. Now, she returns to exact her revenge, armed with her family's katana.
*Ghost of Yōtei* expands upon the open-world formula of *Ghost of Tsushima*, offering players greater freedom in how they approach their objectives. Players can track down other dangerous targets, claim bounties, and seek out weapon masters to learn new skills. The environment of Ezo is both beautiful and deadly, offering moments of peace and unexpected dangers. Players can even build campfires anywhere in the open world to rest.
New features include glimpses into Atsu's past, new weapon types (ōdachi, kusarigama, and dual katanas), and enhanced visuals, especially on PlayStation 5 Pro.
Pre-orders begin on May 2nd at 10:00 AM local time.
The Collector's Edition includes a replica of Atsu's Ghost mask, sash, katana Tsuba, a pouch of coins, art cards, and more.
