Marvel Rivals Season 3.5 brings a host of changes to enhance the player experience. The addition of Blade expands the hero roster, offering a new playstyle focused on close-quarters combat and high damage. His inclusion in the Moon Knight and Cloak & Dagger Team allows for unique cloaking strategies.
Ranked mode has been revamped with new rewards for different tiers, including the Blade-Emerald Blade costume for Gold rank, new frames for Diamond and Platinum, and crests for Grandmaster, Eternal, Celestial, and Top 500. Matchmaking has been adjusted to allow different team sizes in various ranks, and a surrender option has been added to address disconnects.
Hero balancing tweaks aim to create a more level playing field, with buffs for several heroes and nerfs for others. These changes will likely shift the meta and encourage players to experiment with different team compositions. The ability to skip the end-of-match overview screens is a small but significant improvement, addressing community feedback and streamlining the post-match flow.
New skins are available for purchase, and players can earn the Will of Galacta Mantis skin through Twitch Drops by watching eligible streamers.
