On Friday, October 17, 2025, at approximately 9:56 a.m., officers responded to reports of a solo-vehicle crash on northbound Highway 99, south of Golden State Avenue. Preliminary investigations indicate that Jesus Bravo was driving a gray 2012 Toyota Camry northbound on Highway 99 at an unknown speed.
For reasons still under investigation, the Toyota veered toward a northeasterly direction and left the roadway, striking a metal guardrail on the east shoulder. The vehicle continued out of control, ultimately hitting the center divider wall.
Bravo sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The CHP is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether alcohol or drugs played a role.
